We are a Grade A Class 1A, 1B, 1C, 1X Accredited Service Provider (ASP), authorised by the NSW Department of Planning and Environment, Resources and Energy to work on the electricity distribution network in NSW.

Level 1 Powerline services

Level 1 work is carried out on low and high voltage distribution systems owned by supply authorities.

This work can be either underground or overhead power line construction and can be new installations, additions, removal or repair to components and associated equipment with all aspects of electrical infrastructure installed within streets, public areas or specifically designated easements.

Specialized Electrical Pty Ltd is a Level 1 accredited service provider and authorised to conduct contestable overhead and underground works on or near the Essential Energy network.

We cover Level 1 Works such as but not limited to:

• Essential Energy private defects

• Pole relocations

• Under-grounding of existing overhead mains

• Installation of direct distributors

• Installation of street lighting

• Extension of overhead and underground networks

• Cable jointing of both low voltage and high voltage cables (including paper lead cables)

• Installation of Pad mount / Kiosk & Pole top Substations / Transformers

• Construction of indoor/chamber substations.

Level 2

Level 2 work is where low voltage customers are connected to the network, via overhead or underground service connection, usually from the network found in the street to a property, building or structure. This can range from 100 – 400 amp and include supply and installation of  main switchboards and electricity meters

Specialized Electrical Pty Ltd is a Level 2 Accredited Service Provider and authorised to conduct contestable overhead and underground works on or near the Essential Energy network.

We cover Level 2 work such as but not limited to:

• Category 1 – Disconnection / Reconnection

• Category 2 – Underground service lines

• Category 3 – Overhead Mains

• Overhead service from 100amp to 400amp

• Underground service including all civil works

• Disconnect & reconnect

• Relocation of point of attachments

• All forms of metering including net solar and off peak

• Permanent disconnection and removal of service

• Tree trimming around power-lines

• Main switchboard upgrades from 100amp to 1000amp

• Consumers mains and main earth upgrades

• Sub main & distribution board upgrades

• Single Phase to 3 Phase upgrades

• Temporary builders supplies.

• Load applications

• Supply and install Tiger tails & aerial markers.

Level 3

A Level 3 designer would usually provide design services to clients for relocations, upgrades and new construction of overhead and underground electricity transmission lines and distribution networks. Before it is possible to quote or construct you will require a certified Level 3 Authorised Service Provider design.

Having a Level 3 Authorised Service Provider design completed to a high standard is critical to ensuring the project is completed smoothly, without bottlenecks or delays during the construction phase.
